Apologies if questions go against the spirit of this thread, but has there been any word about a repress of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones Flight of the Cosmic Hippo? Would love to have that and some of the other Flecktones albums on vinyl.

Swapped my add-on track for the Davis/Coltrane live album.

Spin clean helped. Still a bit of noise but not enough to exchange.

Bit of static on side A of my 36 chambers copy, but I haven’t given it a wet clean yet. Doesn’t sound as pronounced as Side D of ATLiens. I’ll clean it thoroughly this weekend and try again.

Apologies if it’s been answered before, but are the new reissues of Garbage’s first two albums only available in Europe? Is a US release planned too or do I have to import them? I’ve checked a few of my go to US online shops but haven’t seen them listed.

I submitted a ticket about Outkast last week and after an initial quick response, I haven’t had any update on a replacement. Sent them an email today and got this back:

Bill Withers came today. Pressing and jacket quality are top notch, although I don’t see the “listening notes booklet” mentioned on the hype sticker.

I ended up passing on it. It was the 81 (italicized OMR) and in beautiful shape (jacket and vinyl). Asking price was $100, which probably isn’t bad given the condition, but too much for me to justify.

My local shop just previewed the used arrivals going out tomorrow and the MoFi DSOTM is among them. Not sure if it’s the 79 or 81 release. Any thoughts on that versus the 2016?

I can definitely hear the right channel static on side D on my ATLiens copy. Other sides sound fine. Maybe some minor surface noise but nothing I would return for. I submitted a ticket for a replacement.

The 2016 AAA Ziggy reissue has DBZSLP 40 in the deadwax, right?

Search for “Bridge Over Troubled Water 2009” on eBay and you’ll find a few copies.

I know it’s been mentioned in this thread multiple times, but the Hendrix family releases are phenomenal. I picked up Electric Ladyland last week for around $18, and the pressing, packaging and sound quality are top notch. It would be worth it at twice the price.
