I still like it a lot - no changes from my initial impressions. It gets super hot. The top panel to the left of the tubes would bake anything you put on top of it.

Can you remove the fill pretty easily, in case you don't like the effect? When I had my Harbeths I had Ton Traeger stands, which were solid wood, yet pretty light weight. Harbeth designs are meant to resonate, so I wonder if them being on an inert surface works with or against that design?

Port Charlotte Heavily Peated. Great stuff if you like Ardbeg, Laphroig or Lagavulin.

My first sippin' rum. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, so it's not exactly a huge leap. Really impressed with this. Pronounced bonfire note, which I was not expecting, but definitely a positive. I'm going to explore more aged, barrelled rums in the future.

Is it good? Definitely, yes. Is it worth the price? Not so sure.

Russell's is always a great bang for buck sip. This one's up a rung from the $35 entry level stuff, as it's a single barrel and 110 proof, but still very affordable at ~$50. Was lucky to stumble across this in the wild, esp in MN.
