I find it hard to listen to upbeat music. Doing more chill, relaxing, calm-your-ass-down music. One exception: Earl St. Clair's "Potluck"...just too, too good.

Can't wait. Saw him play at a festival last year and he was impressive. My grandaughter loves him, and after his set, he was gracious enough to come off the stage and take a few pictures with her. Just made us love him even more.

My day was made this morning when I was notified the Black Pumas are stopping in Harrisburg in May. Grabbed tickets for the Mrs. and me. Central PA finally has a venue to bring in some great bands in Club XL. While on their site, snagged some for Low Cut Connie as well.

Curious how many of you out there actually have all the Classic's releases. I do, but as time goes by, I find myself listening to them less and less. Mulling over walking away from it, but knowing I have the entire "set" thus far, it's hard to imagine not adding to the collection.

Whoever mentioned the Bird Peterson holiday lp a few weeks back, thank you! Checked it out, loved it, bought it, and two weeks later, spinning it. Great change of pace record for holiday spinning.

I grew up listening to Christian rock in the 70's and 80's. Daniel Amos was one of my favorites, along with Jerusalem, Larry Norman, and Marty McCall and Fireworks. Alarma is one record that stuck with me all these years, and is still in my rotation.
