Day 31 - Diamond Dogs released on this day in 1974 Play something canine related Another Round [2010] - Jaheim According to Wikipedia, Jaheim was arrested in 2021 for animal cruelty, due to mistreatment of his dogs 😔. Also, BIG UPS to jamieanderson1968 for his work this month!!!

Day 30 - Kooks - Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones born May 30 1971 Play a lullaby (interpret this any way you want) Folk Jazz [1961] - Bill Smith Quartet (Bill Smith (cl), Jim Hall (g), Shelly Manne (d), Monty Budwig (b)) There's a classy version of "Three Blind Mice" on this wonderful album.

Day 29 - The Stars (Are Out Tonight) Play something about stars Word of Mouth [1981] - Jaco Pastorius God damn this album. A masterpiece.

Day 28 - Uncle Floyd / Slip Away Plays something from the 80s. Bonus points if it was released in 1982 The Montreal Concert 1982 - Sonny Rollins Quintet I want those sweet, sweet bonus points.

Day 27 - Starman Play something sci-fi ATLiens [1996] - Outkast It's got aliens and wacky space sounds - love it!

Day 26 - Bring Me the Disco King Play something from the 1970s Walking The Line [1970] - The Oscar Peterson Trio (Jiri Mraz (b), Ray Price (d)) This is an obscure Oscar Peterson album that I randomly picked up because it has a zany cover. No regrets; it's become one of my favourites of his.

Day 25 - The Man Who Sold The World Play a cover song that may be more well know than the original Shake Your Money Maker [1990] - The Black Crowes Definitely in my generation the Black Crowes' version of "Hard to Handle" was more well known that Otis Redding's original. That's probably not...

Day 24 - Love You Till Tuesday Play a song that mentions a day of the week Thursday Night House Party [2016] - Stooges Brass Band If anyone here likes New Orleans 2nd line music, then check out the Stooges; they're one of my favourite bands!

Day 23 - Seven Play an artists 7th album B7 [2020] - Brandy Brandy very kindly told us this is her 7th album by putting it right there in the title. Thanks Brandy!

I really like this record, however it's got a weird cut-off drum solo-edit on Osaks'a Blues.

Day 20 - Modern Love Play something (anti-)religious or spiritual Priceless [2003] - Kelly Price Kelly Price... CRIPES, what a voice! I love that there's always a few praise songs on her albums. "I Still Do" is the final track on this album, and shows off her mad skills singing gospel.

Day 19 - Look Back In Anger Play something angry. Kaleidoscope [1999] - Kelis Kelis' anger sounds so viceral when she sings "I hate you so much right now!" over and over on each chorus of "Caught Out There".
