It’s disturbing, but really fascinating. It’s as much about the act of searching as it is about the search, it that makes sense. And obviously the fact that the author died and the suspected killer was caught adds another layer. It’s good.

They don’t have every Criterion title but they have a lot. And they have titles from outside Criterion, as well. More than anything, I’ve been a huge fan of the way they curate it all. They have a ton of “collections,” like Double Features, Short+Feature, (Artist’s) Adventures in Moviegoing and...

Right before the channel went live, they did a double feature of Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Last Hurrah for Chivalry. Both are so good.

This has been my experience so far mostly. But I’ve been making time for it lately.

Maybe I’m just grumpy because I’m up past my bedtime, but I really didn’t like it.

I watched Glass today. It was somehow not the worst thing I watched in the past 8 hours. Woof. Did not like anything past Dany dying. Loved that moment. Hated everything after that.

I've seen Eraserhead, Fire Walk With Me, Elephant Man, Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet. I'm going to make my way through it all. I read somewhere MD was supposed to be a sort of spin off for Audrey, which makes so much sense.

As a total Twin Peaks nerd, I was amazed I hadn't seen Mulholland Drive. It's something else.

Oh yeah. I definitely signed up to get the card. I have a couple Apple TVs, but the rights issues won't let me stream on my work computer because I have an external monitor. So I have to set up a third screen on my desk. Not ideal, but I'm making it work.

I watched the Persona/Mulholland Drive "Double Feature" yesterday. It was a trip. Gonna need a while to feel normal again.
