    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

My assumption was that GZ would end up carrying the can for this fiasco. Anybody know how pressing problems are normally resolved?

Vinyl Me Pauly (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

They don’t have a single copy left unfortunately (mine copy is missing in transit).

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

I suspect they may have kept a few back for swaps deliberately- just to keep swaps interesting.

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

I actually like it more than most Essentials picks but it seems very anomalous. I’d say Jim Sullivan has broader appeal and we all know how things worked out for poor Jim…

Justments is a wonderful album. Perfect Classics material.

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Unless they’ve pressed a suitably small quantity, I can see this being in swaps until the year 2525.

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Can’t imagine it’s going to sell in Essentials quantities at all. Would have made much more sense as a store drop to be honest.

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

😅 When they’re good they’re good but at the new prices, filler like It’s Magic or the Frederick Knight album are hard to stomach.

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

Bobby Bland is crying out for the VMP classics treatment.

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

Purely a matter of personal taste but the Abbey Lincoln album does nothing for me. In fact, July is looking like a total washout across the board - Reba, Ludacris, MV all duds for me. Hopefully Aug/Sept will be much better. (ATLiens would certainly be welcome). For the first time VMP is...

Bobby Bland - Dreamer seems to fit the 1974 clue too.

My guess for soul is Tom Brock - I love you more and more.

Vinyl Me Pauly (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

That’s the way I feel about lots of late 80s/90s/00s releases. They were conceived as CDs so the vinyl format can feel artificial.
