The Bearer of Bad News and The Party are both wonderful albums and well worth listening to. I would also recommend this live version of "Wendell Walker" which is maybe my favourite Andy song, and a really nice live video:

2020's looking like it'll be a nice year for local artists in Atlantic Canada. Kim Harris is first out of the gate with her sophomore album, out today, that I think a lot of singer-songwriter fans will dig if they get exposed to it.

Yeah, the Woodhouse album was nice. She also had a live Christmas album with The Modern Grass. Christmas was a bit of a thing with her for a while I guess. The new one is titled Holiday because she's taken such a long break from new music though, not because it's another Christmas recording...

Oh for sure, more available Fiona is definitely a thing to be happy about. But I suspect a decent number of people are like me and have the other 3 already and are most excited about Pawn.

I would assume the warning about freaking out means people will be disappointed, i.e. it's not Pawn. It's either a restock of Tidal or an exclusive pressing of one of the others (which have been on vinyl before). Pawn will be the 2nd or 3rd drop.

He's got such a nice, varied discography. I gave the new Ancient Shapes a first listen the other night and it sounded good too.
