Signing up for a year feels like a bitter pill even with those discounted rates. Swaps will be a bunch of records that used to be available for either £10 or £20 cheaper (depending on if you swap an add on or your main) so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to find those appetising and add-on tracks...

Imagining the customer experience of the £40 pick of the month not being too hot and then being offered the perk of choosing swaptions that were available for £20 via add-ons up until now. Did they really spend any time thinking of this rollout lol.

Makes me somewhat thankful I went for the two accounts in my minor stretch with them and did manage to soak up a load of the swaps that were around. Have missed a number of the bangers of the past but have also managed to get a load of great releases. Honestly from the repeat and expected swaps...

So the sell is £40 for a record that might be a dud, will likely arrive late and might look completely different to what was sold. On top of support that can take weeks to respond if at all.

Wise choice. Mentioned in the other thread but heard the news and went to cancel hip-hop add on since the "you're getting this" blank boxes are up for next month, I've been charged for last month and it's in my orders but now DOOM is showing up as "scheduled cancellation" on my member page lol...

Thanks Mike and yeh, regrets on this right now for sure. Just seemed obvious to me I wouldn't be cancelling the ones I've locked on, chosen, paid for and are in my orders haha. Guess nothing should be assumed with this company. Have emailed them to clarify though so hopefully they can correct it...

Definitely. In an ideal world whoever wanted any of these variants would be able to get them, so having one and the black be open is nice and I’ll opt for one or the other if I don’t manage to get the Mondo release.

Worth keeping in mind Ghost of Tsushima was a run of 500 and sold out in under 2 minutes. This is 1000 but imagine Bebop is also more popular.

Lol, oh VMP. Stock thing did the same for The National too. Still useful for if you’re on the fence and it’s the nudge you need but they’re definitely able to pump the numbers. Perhaps more useful for the smaller hundreds runs.
