Checked the Wu album again and the noise is there. Its just a lower frequency and sounds like a noisy record and not like static like the other 4 copies. Much less distracting but still noisy.

There are a lot of good ones that are expensive to find in good shape. Teatro, Phases & Stages, even Red Headed Stranger is kind of expensive to find. Maybe even one of the Willie & Ray Price albums. There is a lot to mine and it might be the first anthology I'll bite on.

It's weird. It's not a pressing defect. It just sounds different than the rest of the album and kind of sounds like it was recorded with an answering machine tape under a blanket.

Yah, nice to spend 90 bucks, wait 6 months, and get disappointed. I sometimes buy two when it's something special thinking at least 1 will make it unscathed but exact same damage on both.
