Day 5 - Box Set Part 1
Coltrane ‘58: The Prestige Recordings
Great box set from Craft Recordings. I’ve only listened to the whole thing straight through one time so I’m gonna try to enjoy this one today.
Day 4 - Memorabilia
Fugazi - s/t
A great band from my well-worn copy of Michael Azerrad’s “Our Band Could Be Your Life” that a friend gave me for my birthday many years ago. In my early 20s I played in a hardcore band and we actually played a show at the Wilson Center in DC. The book and the...
Day 2: Debut
Alfa Mist - Antiphon
This album was my introduction to the UK jazz scene. I had no idea it existed until I heard this album on a Youtube channel. Years later now and I’ve had the chance to hear so many great jazz groups from the UK. I was lucky to get in early and grab this one...
I've been watching some Nusrat performances on Youtube lately and they're awesome, I wanna get some of his stuff on vinyl but the only thing I can find is Mustt Mustt
Day 1: “Moby Dick” - it’s all about the beat , records to showcase the drummer
The Dodos - Visiter

Daniel Norgren - Skogens Frukter
I’m not really pleased at what VMP has turned into, but they really did turn me on to some great music I probably would never have otherwise. After I got this I was so glad to get more Norgren albums through them.
I think I figured out what it was. I was getting really bad slippage on an album, it was super warbly but I flipped it and it played fine. I think I probably just need to get a record weight since there's no mat. It looks like they make one specifically for the Mofi decks too
Maybe it’s just my imagination, but it sounds like the Ultradeck plays slightly slower than my P3, just slightly pitched down. Is that true? Or was my Rega spinning too hot?
