this might be my last trip buying anything other than grails...fewer, better records...but grading is definitely looser than its ever been, and even disk union is starting to be pricey across the board.... I mean...it's possible the world is starting to run out of used, old records....at least...

in Japan for a bit and picked up a grail I had never seen in the wild, Isao Suzuki 'Mongolian Chant' for probably 15% too much but its just such a weird random album, that I've always loved how all over the shop it is, but an easy listen, no free jazz silliness ;-) anywho, since I bet you guys...

all this tracks...state of the state right now in high-end reissues....EXCEPT those wonky labels...do it right and replicate the Atlantic label.....why oh why Rhino....

y yeah...unfortunately they are making an inferior product these days, but their obi-game is killing it, which I think is driving a lot of the sales - I have dozens of them purchased over the years and their lineup has just been killing with rare titles, but everything before 2020 was a tip-on...

It's great that Cisco put this compilation together and Impex is reissuing it and that it sounds as good as it does - TBM was a niche within a niche and unfortunately, the ship has sailed in terms of finding anything original these days for reasonable $$, for those of us with deep collections...

project re:vinyl did Sammy and Count buffalo in the first run - depends if you like Sammy or not, Masahiko Sato Palladium is kind of a classic, minus the free jazz leanings (IMO) - I'm not a fan of most of his stuff, and there's a bunch of Sato released on Express, there's a Hideo Shiraki...

looks like a couple other Express nuggets coming out that same day...was wondering when they were going to get there with Express - these came out on CD about 10 years ago before J-Jazz started to go nuts....

very cool....Ride and Tie is one of those classic Express releases that is impossible to find these days...hopefully universal will do these justice...

there seems to be a bunch of really rare J-Jazz (albeit many titles not my thing) that are being released through some Italian and Canadian labels I've never heard of...anyone buying here? there were a couple I was interested in (rock joint either, and the sadayasu fuji record) advice appreciated

nice....when is this dropping? I haven't been able to get to my recent Planets reissue Im hoping its not warped like just about every BBE record that has come out in the last few years
