Youre thinking to much dont sub genre your genre sections. I keep mine simple: Rock/Metal Jazz Classical Country R&B/Funk/Soul Rap/Hip Hop Pop/Dance/Electronic Salsa Christmas And then all my japanese artists/bands are together subdivided into the Rock/Metal, Pop, and Jazz

I only need the discogs to figure out if i have a particular album if in away from the collection, but if im looking for an album in the collection and im there i can find it I also subdivide by genre

Anyone else who sorts by using “the” should have their collection take away

I dont follow the discogs system as i can find everything myself for how i have it organized. I keep Alice Cooper under A because it was a band before it became a person. If it was always an artist, then itd be filed under C.

A But the real question is where do you file Alice Cooper?

how many hours can we generally put on an ultratracker anyways?

I have the ultratracker and put on the ultimate test record, Chet Baker - Picture of Heath Tone Poet. Notorious got skipping and tracking errors, i could never get it to play right on my old AT120. UD/UT tracked it absolutely perfect, zero issues.

I wish i got the mastertracker instead of the ultratracker, thats a nice free upgrade

Got the table in today and all setup. First records played: Art Blakey - A Night in Tunisia MMJ33 Dean Martin - Dream with Dean AP45 SRV - Couldnt Stand the Weather AP45 And all i can say is oh my, this table is a beast. Puts my AT120 to shame…
