As i thought. Its due to some records having a slightly raised center.

I have one 200gr and about 10-15 180. The rest is 120-40.

1.not using a mat 2. The weight sits level and flat without a record on the platter. As well with 120/140gr records. 3. With 180/200gr records, the record weight does touch the album, slightly but wobbles. Does not have full contact tho, therefore wobbles. So i cant fathom it either.. So, light...

Yep, but the spindel is tight on the platter. Not loose . The issue is with 180/200gr records. Lighter records no issue.

I did. But i removed the mat so its just the platter now. Still the same issue. So i have no idea why its happening. And if i place it directly on the platter / spindel without a record it fits perfect. No wobble..

Cant. Bought in 2019.... So no warranty now. Ill check tho.

I have a slight issue with the Heavyweight and the platter. Somehow, the heavyweight fits well without a record on the platter. However, with 180/200gr records, the heavyweight just wobbles on the spindel and not making contact with the record..

And as i found out... I used a leather mat on the platter, and that actually worsened some of the warps. After removing it - and resetting vta there are less warps now. Jeez. 🙈 I used a mat as i was used to have one. Do not use one. :)

It works sometimes. Other times not. You take a chance hehe.

I did manage to get it to a more acceptable level after warming it in the oven for about 40 min on 50celsius, between two sheets granite.

I have it myself. Its a great protactor! Will it have anything to say if im less then 0,5mm off on the overhang? I kinda have a slight ocd too.

Cheers! My ears are odd hehe. I will try 75 as that is as low as my mofi studiophono can go. I just spent an hour realigning and making sure it was good. Checked 3 times to be sure now. Any odd sibilance that sounds spitty will be in the recording now. How badly set up must a cart be to not be...
