Yes, I’ve been comparing, too; but this sleeve has the green border wrapping underneath the bottom of the sleeve. It doesn’t look, awful, though.

Yes, the original has a larger white border at the top, but the VMP cover has no white border at the bottom:

Has anybody else received there Stax Anthology box yet? The front sleeve Sam & Dave album seems to be printed too low, disappearing off the bottom & leaving a larger white border at the top.

I played the first two albums today & they sound great. I’m kind of tempted to open & play them all but I want to experience them along with everybody else. I’ll be happy playing these two in the meantime.

Reading through recent comments on here, Reddit & Steve Hoffman, there seems to be a lot of anger about the various issues the company has been having & concerns about the future of VMP; which prompts me to add my own personal experience into the mix:

Apparently this is just how they’ve been doing the Anthologies. It seems to me that people are currently seeing everything VMP do as further proof of the companies imminent demise. I, for one, am optimistic. :-)
