In general, I'm extremely dubious of Kickstarters, but this project appears to have the transparency of legitimacy. If they do hit the market in the fall at $350-400, this would be very appealing.

Good advice all around. I think some test records will be good; I'd imagine most of them will be black vinyl so I won't be able to get a great gauge for colored / clear. I clean all records with my Spin-Clean and Tergikleen, so should be set there.

Thank you for the input! Yes, this was a new deck, and all in all, I'm pretty happy with it, but given its price point, if there are issues, I'd rather have them looked at now while it's under warranty.
