This fantastic piece completely sums up my feelings on the Fox World cup coverage. They have 2026 too 😭
I honestly don't mind it. It's tournament football which needs a certain mindset. Particularly for teams who can potentially win it..In Southgate I trust! 🙄..maybe.😬
Agree except he has Ali Wagner as co commentator who's always banging on about transition and shots 'on frame' instead of on target or on goal. Please.
You absolutely would if JP Delacamra was lead commentator-
"Settles" (controls the ball)
"Deflection" (defender clears, goalkeeper saves)
Count 'em, has to be in the hundreds per game 🤣🤣
Don't get me wrong, I'd take Foden over Sterling in particular and probably Saka too. And long term he's definitely a generational talent but in the 10 right now and based on form I'd take Madison.
Ecuador were strong in midfield and wanted it more. The Dutch lack of a striker is a big hurt for them too.
Now to the main event..ere we go, ere we go, ere we go llalalalalal!!!
Ha! Australian Rules. Fun game though. Bale was a passenger and Ramsey wasn't much better. Iran thoroughly deserved it. All to play for in the final games of the group.
