So I’ve been watching “Good Lord Bird” on Showtime. Best thing I’ve seen on TV this year. The soundtrack had been revelatory as well. A version of Amazing Grace used in episode 3 was especially moving. Found it on this fabulous compilation.

The new Colter Wall record. It has a color variant I don’t think I’ve seen used before. Reminds me of antique bottle glass. Suits the music well.

Day 30: Creativity Kate Tempest / The Book of Traps and Lessons Didn’t have anything and my girlfriend gives me this. I’m not familiar with her. Says she is a talented poet. I’ll give it a shot.

Day 29: Party Time Los Lobos / How Will the Wolf Survive Yeah I like a good party band, but I have quite eclectic tastes as well. Folk, Country, Tex Mex etc. I’m also socially and politically conscious. This band does it all and this is one of its best.
