I also have this problem in winter and I run a small humidifier in the area which helps . Also make sure your TT is properly grounded to the system as the ground wire can come loose . I also insure I ground myself on something metal before touching the TT.

My UltraDeck sits on a IsoAcoustics isolation platform on an old oak side table and like Kvetcha I have no movement at all . I have used bluetack on an arm lifter and make sure your deck is level and only use a small thin bit of the tac material and recheck your level again . Should work like a...

I can see how either can work as long as you have good contact with the support and the deck below .

I see you build them up from the deck to under the support . I was having a seniors moment trying to see what you were suggesting .

Sorry for the late question. I am having a bit of a problem visualizing where you put the cards ie what do they rest on.

Just back from somewhere warm . I also had problems with the two decks I got . The stereodeck had quite a few problems that could not be resolved so it was replaced with an ultradeck . Not long after I received it the orange power switch developed a problem and MOFI sent out a replacement Power...

Great , you now have become a forum expert on replacing the arm lift . If someone could invent a way to remove all the static dust that would be something .

In addition to all the main components , add on all the interconnects , power cords ect and the room dynamics which all impact the sound . Like you note building on the experience of members is a good starting point , but only a starting point and does not replace the listeners' own ears

Is there a reason beyond wonder lust? I have noticed a couple of members who have appeared to move on to other TT. For me this is likely my last analog system as when I downsize space will become an issue . May just stream and use headphones as my wife is always telling me to turn it down and...

I briefly had the studioDeck and enjoyed it before upgrading to the Ultradeck . Not a quality issue as the deck had a small broken part not impacting sound that likely occurred at the dealer end as it was a demo..I dont think MOFI are getting out of TT as they just came out with a high-end table...

Welcome to the forum , good way to start the new year . I started with the spin clean some years ago and it worked fine for my old TT. I was concerned with leaving cleaning fluid on the record .When I purchased the Ultradeck I switched to the squeaky clean which is made here in Ontario Canada...

I had a Dual 505-2 and its in the workshop system now . Your description suits my old Dual to a T . In the past had a local person who was good at maintaining it and I know all the spots that need lubrication when it gets grumpy . In Southwest Ontario there is someone who does a basic...

Your right on that as my first deck had a lot of problems and was returned to the dealer and the ultradeck replacement had a problem with the start button which I fixed with a replacement part . It was a known problem . So far no oil under lifter .

When i first received my Ultradeck I had a problem with the off/on yellow button . It appear to be a design flaw and they gave me the option of returning or replacing the button myself . I went with the latter and in due time the button and instructions showed up . Detailed instructions , but...
