That opening title track is gonna blow your mind. I’m actually a little jealous you get to hear it with fresh ears. It’s quite possibly THE hard bop tune.

That Dexter album is underrated. It’s awesome. The main theme from “Devilette” gets stuck in my head all the time. So cool and catchy; man, such an outstanding tune.

I always thought Wake of the Flood sounded great too. But, honestly, I think it sounds even better on vinyl. My original sounds phenomenal. But that Rhino remaster repress from a few years ago is just as great!
