I fall into the camp of having seen REM, grew up with their early catalog, and would therefore opt for Talking Heads. Also, David Byrne’s Utopia tour (first round, never saw the broadway version) was amazing.

I don’t have enough experience with classical and particularly quartets on vinyl to know “definitive” — my classical is limited to about a dozen records, inclusive of two operas, and the only quartets are Kronos. With those caveats then, I’ve really enjoyed the Caroline Shaw/Attacca Quartet...
