Only got to listen to half of Donda so far, quite like what I heard. Fivio, The Weeknd and Baby Keem particularly stood out as excellent features

I think if you like Dave and Slowthai, Pa Salieu would be your thing too. He does UK Hip Hop fairly similarly to them but incorporates a bit more Afrobeat and UK Drill which are very popular among contemporary UK Artists I’m also a big fan of J Hus and Nines, both of their recent albums...

@blenxosmith I’d heard the drop was a UK region-locked release and that a wider release for international customers would follow; nothing more concrete than that though!

Yeah passed on this too, feel the same way. Particularly when it’s a pre order and there hasn’t even been a chance to listen to it before forking out 50 quid (before adding international shipping)

Hopefully the new Dave album… it got a UK drop on the merch site but no international shipping I heard? Missed it either way, fingers crossed it pops up again cause the album is great

Nope! Going for whatever version is most convenient is the move I reckon. Plus you get the OG cover! I think if you miss it somehow copies of this should be available afterwards at a reasonable price too

Looking forward to seeing where this new project goes, he's very inconsistent but IWASVERYBAD was a seriously underappreciated album when it came out, nothing he's done since has reached that yet. His consistent fan interaction and promo stuff he does for his projects is very cool though
