Don't remember the movie at all but without including the "Such Great Heights" cover, not sure Iron & Wine would have had the career or success he's had, so I'm thankful for that.

Pit/floor here were disgusting too. Lawns were about $75 (the lawn looks significantly closer at your amphitheatre). Since I figured this will likely be the one and only time I see him, sprung for a seat in the front row of a rear section for about $130.

I'd bet they did. Now I just hope they announce another tour after last year's was cancelled.

I cannot recommend Mason & Dixon highly enough, FYI! Probably the finest novel I have ever read, not totally baffling in the way many of his novels are (though it certainly has its own challenges: getting used to 18th-century writing style takes a while). It is essentially a buddy road novel...

As mentioned by others, Gravity's Rainbow is incredibly difficult, probably the most difficult book I've read. And as @ayayrawn said, it is not a very good place to start with Pynchon. (The Crying of Lot 49 or Inherent Vice are much quicker and give you a good idea of his sort of thing.) But...

Hilarious week to release this, with like four feet of snow covering the entire city.
