Finally an update!!!
2. Shadow of the Gods (Bloodsworn Saga #1) - John Gwynne. Needed some dumb fantasy in the midst of Infinite Jest, and this did the trick for a while, but I DNF'd at about 50%. Objectively bad prose, and generic characters. Needed a once over by an editor.

Moreso in the sense that I don't even really follow college sports a ton apart from my own team. Too much goin on. I prefer professional in that sense.
I never finished season 3 either. As someone who thinks the first season is one of their favorite seasons of tv ever, it became kind of unbearable by the end.

Indy as far as I understand, is more of an exploration focused Immersive Sim like Prey or Dishonored. Not the biggest Indy fan, but I love that shit, and plan on playin when it comes to PS5.
That was a stacked year, and I would've been happy with like 5 of those nominees, including Shape of Water, winning BP. Is it Del Toro's best film, no, but it's a lovely passion project that's an amalgamation of his best qualities as a filmmaker.
