Kendrick's album is really good but Obongjayar's "Some Nights I Dream of Doors" is the best album I've heard today. One of the few albums this year that fully grabbed me from beginning to end, highly recommended.

My week I keep going back to Samora Pinderhughes' album. The Wema, Willie Nelson, and Mansionair albums are all solid. I also got on a Bino kick this week.

Passively listened to Shilpa Ray's new album Portrait of a Lady and really enjoyed it, def needs a deeper listen for the details in the lyrics. Love her growling vocals.

Kaleidoscope III, by Serengeti Audio Recon has Serengeti's new album Kaleidoscope III, the 3rd album in his art pop series with Kaleidoscope and Quail. Limited to 100 but pricey at $48 shipped.

Couple solid albums not yet mentioned: Buddy - Superghetto (hip hop) I love Buddy's last album, this was good on first listen but didn't grab me like Harlan & Alondra. Gabriel Kahane - Magnificent Bird (singer-songwriter) gave me Paul Simon and Sufjan vibes. Great songwriting with a couple...
