Not familiar with this one but with tracks titled “Psychedelic Sally” and “Jungle Juice” I am will to give it a go for $12 bucks.

I have the Classic Records pressing (I am fairly certain that AP acquired and used their plates) and it sounds fantastic to me. I haven’t heard the Actual AP or MoFi though for comparison though I doubt it could sound all that much better.

Most of these RSD Essentials I have are solid. They aren’t audiophile but they are pressed well without any glaring issues. I am gonna pick up both of these Mazzy Star releases.

I am a huge Beach Boys fan and Noah seems to be the deeply inspired by the works of Brian Wilson. I really loved Person Pitch, Tomboy, and Meets The Grim Reaper. They were all, IMO up there with AC’s best work. The albums since were good if not spectacular but this new one was a return to form...

Nice list! I would drop Centipede Hz down to 5 and slightly rearrange the top 4 a bit but it’s close enough. You checked out the new Panda Bear album? It’s waaay better than I was expecting and will likely end up on my AOTY list come December.

I enjoy Little Nicky. While it’s not at the same level as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, or The Waterboy is still far from The Sandman’s worse. I would rather watch this than his rom-com movies, 50 First Dates or Big Daddy. Probably at on par with The Wedding Singer.

Looks like an AI poster where someone typed “A24” and “Wes Anderson” in the image generation prompt.

We checked after we talked earlier and it’s not available on any of the US streamer at the moment. I didn’t confirm but I saw someone say that the Canadian series was streaming in Daily Motion (The You Tube alternative) if you really wanna check it out. We will probably just hope it shows up...
