Naxatras is back with album “V”. Really tight psych band from Greece. Arrived today. 2nd play through. Colored vinyl is sold out but the blk sounds quite nice.

Martin Sexton came out running with his debut Black Sheep. Songs written thru the school of hard knocks. IMHO he burned out early but I admit I haven’t followed his recent work. This newly remastered live album captures him at his peak. Sounds excellent.

It can be a bit disorienting when u close ur eyes for a while. The soundstage fills the room. Everything is point sourced imaged across the front. Then u open ur eyes. The soundstage illusion is still there but u have these 6ft monoliths standing right in front of u. :-).

Agreed on all points. Just finished playing side 1 and now cueing up b-side. I’ll compare pressings on this someday but this new 35yr black one is sounding stellar. Glad they gave this the attention it deserves. Hope they do the same for some of her later catalog. Nice.
