    Jazz

All of these are amazing but Power to the People might be my favorite from his Milestone years. The Lighthouse and In Japan albums from the 70’s are straight 🔥 too. A box of those recordings from Jazz Dispensary would be amazing.

Same! Lame! I was hoping to get this one since I have the store exclusives of the other four from this year. Oh well. I’ll be happy with the standard black.

Shake Some Action is pop perfection. Not the power pop version of the Groovies, but the Teenage Head album by them when Roy Loney was the lead singer is simply an amazing rock record from the early 70’s.

If there’s anything that’s close to an audiophile hip hop album, this is it. Plus it’s one of the best hip hop albums (possibly the best for me) of all time. My og copy is so good. These color editions are cool but quite expensive. Plus it’s Get On Down which is always hit or miss.

I will say that the MoFi Pinkerton and Blue Album are stellar and better than the standard reissues they’ve gotten in the past decade.

Yeah Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling cut the new Stop Making Sense. Wouldn’t surprise me if he cut these if they’re remastered.

The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

I would like to see the lions do well, maybe get a wild card, but not at the expense of the Pack winning the North (probably won’t happen but who knows. I’m a huge Packers fan by the way, grew up in Green Bay).

It’s pretty wild that Kevin Gray is only like 10 years younger than Bob Ludwig. They’ve both been in the game for so long!

I think they’re quite good! The debut and Give Em Enough Rope are better than my OG US counterparts. But then again, those two never sounded great to begin with and the US version of the debut is basically a different album altogether. Did he cut any others from The Clash?

Not sure if the mono mix is better or not than the stereo, but I do like it. It’s really in your face and has a tougher sound. The hard panned stereo is what I’m used to though and I think the way they intended it to sound when released since Sire wouldn’t allow a mono mix. They were going for...

The DCC Roy Orbison is fantastic! Sounds so good! I love spinning that record.

I’ll wait for this one to go on sale a couple months after release. Excited for new OPN though!

Anyone know who cut this one? Chris Bellman cut the Oh Inverted World reissue and it was quite good. Scratch that, I think it was just remastered by Bob Ludwig and not cut by Chris Bellman.

Just got my Meters bundle last night and quickly spun Cissy Strut and compared it to my OG pressing. I think the new one wins for me. It’s a much cleaner sound on the periphery while keeping that dirty bass sound up front. I’ve never had og copies of Look Ka Py Py or Struttin so can’t make a...
