I ordered both the things I posted above from Juno because I have no self control and because I just got a new job!

I really enjoyed Paper Girls. It's not the best thing ever, but it's very decent. Strong Dungeons & Dragons cartoon vibes with a bunch of kids trying to get home.

I like the Ezra Furman album, but, admittedly after only 2 listens, I think it's no more than solid and certainly not as good as the previous, visceral 'Twelve Nudes'. I'd probably rate it alongside Transangelic Exodus which I consider one of the weaker of Ezra's discography.

The new Hot Chip is solid.

Lizzo was a slow burner, but after repeated listens I think it might be one if her best and one of the best of the year
