I wasn’t familiar with it, but it’s super interesting. Sounds like a Little Feat jam session with Chico’s Latin-esque drumming layered in. It sounds really great. I’m curious to know what brought them to a session together - this is fairly early for Little Feat’s heyday.

Spinning Chico Hamilton - The Master now…this thing smokes! What a wildly interesting album - Chico backed by Little Feat. Another excellent Craft reissue with a tip-on jacket, flat disc, and excellent mastering.

Went with Chico Hamilton and Jazz Dispo. They didn't get the Garcia/Grisman in, so am on the lookout for that one. Almost bit on Little Feat but for $50, the packaging left a lot to be desired - single slot for 3xLPs.

For those interested in Garcia/Grisman “Do What,” seems like they didn’t get out in time. None of the locals near me got it in, and are still waiting on it. Just a heads up if you don’t see it.

Tbh those expensive jazz sets haven’t been too hard to find after the fact, and even for less money. Specifically thinking the Kelly/Montgomery. I am interested in it, but for $75+ I’m going to hold off the day of.

No box or book - everything else is the same. Member price was $270+tax, so about $40 per record. Essentially an extra $100 for the box and book. Frankly they don’t add nearly that value for me.

Free record aside, it’s $26/album shipped. Much better than the anthology.

With the free bonus record, shakes out to $23 a piece. Glad I waited…
