Bought a record yesterday that I have been after for years. Paid and was updated to shipped. Today its been cancelled/refunded and the seller messaged to say that the pricing was a mistake and she's now going to re-list it for 30% more than the original price. So annoyed.
Devastated to hear that Lou Donaldson has passed away. 98 years old though, a hell of an age!
In a last minute bout of excitement I have secured tickets to see both Pat Metheny and Takuya Kuroda as part of this years London Jazz Festival. Very excited!
Just got back from Gilles Peterson's "We Out Here" festival. A great few days, really fun and managed to see some incredible acts including Ebo Taylor, Sampha, Floating Points, Matthew Halsall, Corinne Bailey Rae, Nana Benz du Togo, Brian Jackson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, corto.alto, Andre 3000, and more.....phew!

Last week I 'won' a record for the deal of a lifetime, way under what it should have gone for. Fast forward a week and it still hasn't arrived so I contacted the seller. He got back to me to say that it was next day delivery so it should have arrived, but he's lost the receipt with the tracking (which he didnt add to ebay when he updated the info). I think he's making it all up. So annoyed
Had a KILLER ebay win today. One of those where I thought it would go for 10X the amount it did and I certainly didn't expect to win it. Great start to the weekend!
Just visited Universal Music to assist in a new project. This might just be the coolest thing I have been a part of. From a nerds perspective anyway.
