@scotthilk and @nolalady I believe I said the wrong thing. Haha. I meant screen printed vinyl record jackets. It’s a sort of tougher cardboard that was stamped and printed for a limited run.

totally different material but maybe try delicately dabbing and rubbing at it with rubbing alcohol. I've never used it on vinyl jackets, but have successfully removed sharpie from appliances, windbreaker jacket, and a book cover using it. be delicate with amount and effort used so you don't degrade the material or image
