This has really got me thinking. Im always impressed by my first mono pressings of Lee Morgan - The Cooker and John Coltrane - Blue Train, cant imagine either of them sounding much better. A Three Blind Mice J-Jazz comp that @Skalap recommended is unreal quality as well.
