I haven't been through there in many years. I know that Ft. Worth had a pretty good Half Price Books, but I'm not sure about any independent stores.

Spinster records is a lot of fun. Kind of in between FT Worth and Dallas, but Forever Young Records is HUGE and kind of eccentric but definitely worth checking out.
