Well, I went WAY overboard on mine so, I won't steer you that way but suffice to say I'm very happy with them. In terms of shielding I think the 2 brands of cables that most frequently get suggested in here are Blue Jeans and Zu audio. Zu specifically being purchased through their pretty majorly discounted eBay store.
