I think visible non audible scratches are ok here. IIRC

Ok thanks

No, you are correct. NM should be clear of any visible flaws, including factory flaws.

Ok I just wanted to make sure I was correct. I’m no expert but in my experience over the last year there really isn’t a “mint” record that I’ve ever seen, so nm to me is basically a real world as good as it gets type situation.

Yes many Discogs sellers won’t list above NM. Mint I take as unopened. Inside however it could be far from NM even if unplayed

It’s just silly to list the disc as nm and then mention visible scratches in the description.

LOL! I always roll my eyes when I read descriptions that completely contradicts what the album was graded at and it happens ALL THE TIME!

Obviously another red flag is a seller listing everything nm and or vg+ as well as listing a NM copy well below every other listing

Neither inherently are dubious but definitely suspicious it’s a double edged sword I’m always looking for a deal I tend to only by new online.

Woah now, yeah, I listed everything below lowest with intent to sell. The truth is those prices were still double and triple what I paid so it was all gravy. It was not because the grading was inflated, Jesus.
