I actually think both countries are politically in the same headspace. Brexit has really poisoned the debate back home, I don’t recognise it as the place I grew up.

I think following any election is depressing but that's just me

I don’t agree @tonythegamer i think they can be great things full of hope and change. The problem is the polarisation of the debate and the loss of discourse, it’s just led to a toxic atmosphere.
