As much as I don’t like greatest hits comps, the 1966 Greatest Hits is the go-to. Look for an older release in mono. The later stereo versions aren’t great. Edit - This one is considered the go-to version: The Kinks - The Kinks Greatest Hits!

It's pretty solid. It is cheap enough to obtain.

Just buy the mono box on vinyl hahahahaha!

@Jmcg85 it's relatively reasonable at an average of $18-$20 per record, it just happens to be 10 records

The Kinks Mono Box is £169.80 on amazon.co.uk. you might be able to find it cheaper. Used to be able to get it for $150 over here. Really great box. Obviously more expensive than a comp though!
