I’m guessing it’s not just a front end. Probably the whole system (their sister company develops retail software).

They've always been one of my favorite places to buy so hope it's only improvement. I noticed their section for recently added Vinyl pre-orders is gone (which sucks), but they've added a cancel order option instead of having to email in (which is great).

Their strength has always been in the back end of the inventory management. It’s really well-regraded. If I was a complete dumdum that thought music retail would be a good idea, it’s the inventory solution I’d use.

Yeah, only issues I've had is with them overselling some pre-orders. But even that they've addressed lately by closing off preorders at a certain point and putting a note on the product page. Really fantastic store all around.

I love that I live where these brick & mortar stores started and still exist. I have the luxury of just calling them up and being like, "set that thing aside for me," and then I drive 5 minutes and have it in hand. And if it doesn't happen to be at my local, they transfer from another store in a day or two. Worst case they order it in and I wait a week or so, but never pay shipping. They are the BEST!

I buy enough through them and talk to them frequently enough that I basically consider them my local. My actual locals deal mostly in preowned, so it’s nice to have a relationship with a smaller place to get new.

Yeah, me as well. Them and Plaid Room. I live in NY so it makes it hard to buy New Albums at an actual local without paying a serious markup (especially with high City and State taxes).

Everyone there is so great. They've been incredibly helpful in helping me find things over the years.

@wynn72 There section for recently added pre-orders is still there. Took me a moment to find it though. Haven't found the all pre-orders section yet though.
