It's....strange. I definitely need a bunch of listens to digest it. Lyrically, it's really weak for me but that's never been a reason to listen to a Ye album to me.

But is that really enough time to pass judgement? @foks

Yeah I never reach into Kanye for lyrics. It's always about how the whole overall sound comes across to me and I have to say there is a lot to enjoy on it so far. It isnt this crazy gospel album we thought we were getting @MikeH

Definitely a lot musically that I love on it. My initial reaction is similar to the last few albums he has put out in that the production is overall pretty awesome, the lyrics are pretty mediocre and the mastering sucks. It will be on repeat for me over the weekend for sure though. Initial few listens for me are that it's my least favorite of his last 4 (JIK, 'Ye, TLOP and Yeezus).
