Need to check it out for myself but I haven't enjoyed much of coldplay output post 08 bar moments on ghost stories....and I own every album

Yeah I’m the same I own every album but I’m even less convinced, I don’t think they’ve released a whole album that convinces since 02, only the odd single...

Yeah they went off track with X&Y (05?) then I actually loved VLV when it dropped in 08 but i went back to it not so long ago and wasnt sure what i used to really love about it. I think bands that turn Stadium rock & pop are just not all that appealing to me (looking at you KOL)

I love X&y but to be fair I love synthy space rock lol

I think mylo was good as they had live performances leading up to the release (which I ended up enjoying Audio rips of their Glastonbury performances over the finally released ) and the strong b side , moving to mars , which paired well with major minus.

Ghost stories is actually fine but overall people were bored with it.

AFOD is probably their return to form of Mylo after “over correcting” their ghost stories phase. To me , AFOD is the most inconsistent.

Yeah I keep giving them a chance and keep being disappointed, it’s probably about time I jumped ship but I’m a terrible completionist!
