The JD stuff is great I think. I'm not sure I've got any of the Craft jazz stuff. Was the VMP Rollins recently a Craft one? I have it but haven't listened yet. I do have the Isaac Hayes stuff on Craft and was impressed by them too.

JD is a subsidiary of Craft. Good to hear. Although fuck that means 24 Carat Black is probably actually dreadful.

JD is awesome, some Craft is good some isn't. 24 Carat isn't great. The new JLH Country Blues is incredible.

But I mean, MOST of the VMP Bluenote records sound good. The Anthology and classics sound the best. You just generally want to avoid stuff like that Dolphy that is a Rainbo press...
