Listening to this set also pushed me to revisit this awesome cover of 'They're Blind'.

I was excited for this box. Then no vinyl version, which is kind of annoying.

I even went so far as to ask the label about the possibility that the Waits Sessions might see a solo vinyl release (that’s what I really want) and was told there’s no plans. Booooo.

The new stripped down mix is great. The 'Talent Show' demo is the vibe I would have liked to have heard for the entire album, but, alas. Just a good all around collection. A vinyl version would have been nice. It's getting great reviews, so, who knows. Perhaps their plans will change.

I hope so, if only for my own convenience of not having to set up a cd audio rig.
