Rent a bike and ride around Stanley Park. Skip the huge crowds at the Capilano suspension bridge and go hiking somewhere else like Lynn Canyon. Gastown is great to walk around in (so is most of the city) but be careful on East Hastings. A lot of great breweries in Mount Pleasant, esp. 33 Acres. Vancouver is amazing.
