Not down here it wasn't @Bohnjaggs. But I don't really remember commercial radio playing that kind of music. Or having a music chanel in cable. MTV didn't land in South America til 1996.

At the time I used to make mix CDs for friends because I was one of the first people with a burner (when blank CDs cost about $10 each). I had a friend request a CD with "that song on the radio that says Jesus" so I included American Jesus by Bad Religion but it turned out he was talking about this one.
