What was your favorite album of 2023?

Agreed. A lot of really solid records.

I feel like there have been a lot of really good albums this year, but not many great ones. I don’t remember a year where I’ve had so many albums on my year end list shifting around this much this late in the game. So many albums are kind of on the same level for me, and few are really standing apart in a noticeable way.

Regarding my year end list, I actually said to myself the other day, “You’re Charles Bisselling the hell out of this list.”

I need to see some year end lists from folks. Feel like maybe i missed a ton of new music this year since i was focusing a lot on older albums. Not a ton grabbed me this year outside of Sampha and Andy Shauf and a handful of other albums...

@MikeH you give Blake Mills newest Jelly Road a go? It was on my best of list for this year.

My Spotify playlist is my two wake-up songs and 3 Lion King OST songs. I missed a ton of new music this year. Thank you kids.
