I get so much shit for never being able to get into The Stones and The Who. Don't get me wrong, there are songs I like.. but the hype? Crazzay.

@scotthilk the Stones always just sounded basic to me, if that makes sense? The only album I can tolerate is Exile.

I think even their fans aren't looking for new songs 60 years on.

I'd never enjoyed the Stones until I got that Tattoo You boxset in the discount bin this year. I've spun it a few times because it clicked for me this time. I don't know if that will carry over to the rest of their discography but it made me more likely to actually try to listen to them all.

I’m not sure that a new single in 2023 is gonna change your feelings about The Rolling Stones
