Could probably use a RasPi with external microphone. Somewhere between 150-200 lines of code for program implementation. I could see the practicality for a DJ set.

I bet those erase the pops and clicks machines could make it happen. That being said, I’ve seen some internet videos where someone is playing a record and their tv is displaying the album artwork and track details.

I mean beyond an application to scrobble while spinning, I’m not real sure what one would get from such a thing.

It's mostly that I'd like to see song titles while I listen. Because I mostly listen to vinyl, and hardly ever do more than a quick look at the titles, I don't ever know what song is what.

I use Google and it's fine, but it would be nice to not have to go through the process and it just be there. I'm going to say it isn't laziness, but I'm usually working and it would be less distracting to not need to stop and use my phone.
