His Austin show tickets were higher than I would have liked, but the show ended up being worth every penny. Now those Ryman show prices for his run in October are crazy high.

Pretty much the same boat as @Aron for the Vancouver show I went to a few months back. I think tickets were as much as both DBT shows I went to a few years back, but I also don't regret a cent!

Here they are about what they were the last time I saw him (I saw him post lockdown but bought the tickets prepandemic.). That being said that last show was at an upscale venue. This time he is playing a venue that would have been cheaper then and that I dislike.

My show going approach has changed since the ticket price hike that is a result of the pandemic. I just don’t go to as many shows. That allows me to justify spending extra on the ones I really want to see. That does hurt smaller, local bands, but I’m also an old, so hopefully the younger audience that can stay out all night mid-week pick up the slack.

The shows I am going to are a little higher then they would have been prepandemic, but I mostly go to smaller venues these days because the big venues suck. I also am weary of crowds still.

Being immunocompromised in a “post” pandemic world is not fun.

I've seen him a ton and I just saw his Weathervanes releases show in a venue of 750 people for $30 so I shouldn't complain, but all the tickets for dates around Nashville are just stupid. $200-300 plus for two tickets is just nuts for him.

It's for everyone to hold up their beer and sing along to "Cover Me Up"

Only time it would be cool to see a thousand or so folks holding up bud lights. Lol
