I've thought about doing this too...but I think I'd still figure out a way to buy too many records! I think it's a very good idea though. What direction are you thinking?

@Kris I really love finding and discovering stuff that is not easily streamable. Most of that winds up being international stuff, but I also have a very soft spot for Hawaiian music. And not just slack guitar and ukulele music, but rock/jazz/soul/funk from Hawaiian artists, much of which didn’t sell well in the CONUS but did in Japan and on the islands (Aloha Got Soul is a great launching point).

That's me with Peruvian psychedelic cumbia or chicha. It's the Peruvian response to 60's psych rock, but with latin rythms.
