Well yes I’ve lived here long enough that I’m officially sick of magnolia and can’t keep putting it off because it’s getting to look grubby no matter how well it’s cleaned. It’ll be worth it at the end of next weekend when I’ve a nice clean paint job and everything is back in its place!

Your google machine broke? Very famous house renovators with a show that became a network. Their show on HGTv “Fixer Upper” spawned a million copycats.

I mean I’ve never heard of them because I don’t tend to watch American renovation shows, we have more than enough local achitects/renovators doing up houses on tv for one lifetime.

Their empire is Magnolia something or another which is how we got here…

Yeah magnolia is just what builders paint the entirety of new builds inside here. I was too skint when I bought to repaint. The open plan living room kitchen was the last room left to decorate because I couldn’t bare to move everything. It will be a nice grey/green colour come Thursday/Friday.

Also take 1200 records out the room and all of a sudden my tv sounds very echoey!

Haha! It’s got the kitchen in. It should really be done every 6 or 7 years…

I thought the records were bad, I’d forgotten that bloody hifi weighs about 70kg on the stand. Pushing that out was also not fun!
